Nautical Inspired Wedding at The Lighthouse Glen Cove

Tamara • Jan 09, 2018

When I met the bride, Alice, I met her mom and one of her sisters and we instantly hit it off. I was setting up for a wedding at the Lighthouse Glen Cove and they were on a tour of the space, considering it for the bride’s upcoming Nautical Inspired wedding. They eventually booked the venue, came to find me at an open house hosted by the venue and made my heart happy that they wanted to work with me to design the wedding.

The groom, who’s a merchant marine, proposed at the waterfront so the wedding was going to have a nautical theme and we were going to have a lot of fun. We worked to inject personality, whimsey and love into this wedding and the MOB (Mother of The Bride) worked her magic on a few DIY projects to make it even more personal for the Bride and Groom and their families.

Here are some of my favorite moments from Alice & John’s big day:[/vc_column_text]
